If you are interested in gaining experience in refuse collection or waste management, apply now for our Refuse Associate position! Refuse Associates main responsibility is to collect refuse and waste along an assigned route.

Examples of duties:

• Retrieve trash bins, containers, or bags along the route;
• Empty bins and containers into trash;
• Operate arm lift and compactor mechanisms as needed;
• Communicate with residents and answer questions as needed;
• Assist with other duties such as grounds maintenance and custodial worker as needed;
• Follow established safety procedures.
