• Maintain hospital facilities in a clean, sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition, to provide suitable environment for the care of patient and for the works of the hospital staff and employees.
• Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions and schedules.
• Ability to perform a variety task and tolerate contact with a variety of cleaning products and solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to lift objects, stand for long period of time, and to perform manual labor.
• Ability to perform cleaning/housekeeping duties in patient occupied areas.

• Knowledge of cleaning methods and procedure, as well as knowledge of chemicals, equipment, and supplies use in a health care facility.
• Knowledge of safety practices as related to housekeeping duties.
• Working skill in the operation of manual and powered cleaning equipment.
