Star Children's Dress Company is seeking a dependable and self-motivated Part-Time Maintenance Technician to join our Distribution Center team in Amelia Court House, Virginia. This position is responsible for maintaining our facility, equipment, and grounds to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically inclined, and able to work independently while responding to maintenance needs throughout the facility.
EssentialResponsibilities
- Perform routine building maintenance and minor repairs.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on warehouse equipment and facility systems.
- Repair or replace lighting, plumbing fixtures, doors, shelving, and other building components.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas.
- Assist with painting, carpentry, and general facility improvements.
- Perform seasonal outdoor maintenance, including grounds upkeep as needed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from warehouse staff.
- Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs when necessary.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
- Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.

- Previous maintenance, facilities, or building maintenance experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general carpentry repairs.
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, climbing ladders, and working both indoors and outdoors.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
