Forklift Operator Warehouse

Position Title: Warehouse Material Handler

Location: Lyons, Illinois

Employment Type: Permanent Full Time

• Hourly Pay: $22.00 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $33.00 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour when assigned to third shift
• Schedule:
  
  Sunday – Tuesday 6:00 pm – 6:00 am and every other Wednesday

• Products handled:
  Recycled material, reusable containers, etc.
• Equipment:
  Stand‑up forklift, RF scanner

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience (preferred)
• Valid Forklift Operator's License
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

• Professional relationship building within all levels of the organization
• Highly thorough and dependable
• Good attendance record; punctuality
• Works independently with minimal supervision

• Can lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs

Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check; road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Carry out duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Ensure accurate picking and packing; auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks
• Handle day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hour of production
• Perform other duties as assigned
