We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join the Woods Cleaning Services team. While this position will be stationed at the Riverside Epi Center, the role is employed directly by Woods Cleaning Services, not Riverside Epi Center
.

Terrazzo Floor Maintenance:

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks on terrazzo floors, including sweeping, mopping, and buffing to maintain a polished appearance.
• Identify and address stains, scratches, or damages using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
• Apply sealants, waxes, and other protective coatings to extend longevity and shine.
• Assist with deep cleaning and restoration projects as needed.

Carpet Maintenance:

• Conduct regular vacuuming, spot cleaning, and stain removal throughout the facility.
• Operate carpet cleaning equipment (steam cleaners, extractors, etc.) for deep cleaning as required.
• Report damages or repair needs to the Facilities Manager promptly.
• Coordinate with professional carpet cleaning services when necessary.

Hardwood Floor Maintenance:

• Sweep, mop, and dust hardwood floors regularly to maintain cleanliness.
• Inspect for scratches, scuffs, or wear and take corrective action.
• Apply refinishing products (varnishes, polishes, etc.) to restore appearance.
• Follow a maintenance schedule for deep cleaning, buffing, and recoating.

General Maintenance:

• Assist with waste management, restroom cleaning, and light facility upkeep as needed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting shortages or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with team members to support overall facility cleanliness.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in floor maintenance, preferably in a large facility.
• Knowledge of terrazzo, carpet, and hardwood floor care techniques.
• Familiarity with floor care equipment (buffers, extractors, steam cleaners, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve floor damages.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
