We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Maintenance Assistant to support the day‑to‑day upkeep and operations of our community. As a Maintenance Assistant at Arlington Senior Living, you will work alongside the Maintenance Director to ensure our facility remains safe, well‑maintained, and comfortable for residents, staff, and visitors.

• Assist with routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep throughout the facility
• Perform general repairs including painting, patching, plumbing, and carpentry
• Respond promptly to maintenance work orders submitted by residents and staff
• Assist with HVAC filter changes, lighting replacements, and minor electrical tasks
• Help maintain the exterior grounds, parking areas, and common spaces
• Support move‑in and move‑out unit turnovers (painting, cleaning, minor repairs)
• Assist with setup and breakdown for facility events and activities
• Perform safety checks and assist with fire and life safety inspections
• Report maintenance concerns and equipment issues to the Maintenance Director
• Follow all safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and facility policies

• Prior experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related trade – preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
• Ability to read and follow work orders and maintenance logs
• Strong work ethic with a positive, team‑player attitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Valid driver's license – preferred
• Experience in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality setting – a plus
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
