Role Description The Maintenance Manager role at Global Talent Finders is a full-time, on-site position based in Macon, GA. The Maintenance Manager will oversee daily maintenance operations, including scheduling and supervising maintenance staff, coordinating repairs, and ensuring equipment and facilities are kept in optimal working condition. This role is responsible for developing and implementing preventive maintenance plans, monitoring work orders, and maintaining maintenance records to support safety, reliability, and efficiency.
The Maintenance Manager will collaborate with production and operations teams to minimize downtime, manage maintenance budgets, and ensure compliance with relevant safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, task delegation, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair skills to diagnose issues and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance Management skills to develop schedules, optimize asset life, and manage maintenance workflows.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of safety regulations, facility systems, and basic electrical, mechanical, or HVAC concepts.
- Candidates should possess effective communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or facilities maintenance environment and prior management or lead experience are beneficial.
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience, along with relevant certifications (e.g., maintenance, facilities, or safety), is preferred.
