Valley View Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Floor Tech / Environmental Services (EVS) Technician to join our team.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Housekeeping
, the Floor Tech / EVS Technician is responsible for maintaining floors throughout the facility and assisting with general housekeeping duties in resident rooms and common areas.

What You'll Do
  • Dust and wet mop floors in hallways, entryways, and common areas
  • Strip, wax, and buff floors according to cleaning schedules
  • Operate and maintain floor care equipment properly
  • Inspect equipment for proper functioning and report any issues
  • Clean equipment after each use
  • Assist with cleaning resident rooms and assigned areas as needed
  • Follow all infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in floor care, housekeeping, or environmental services (EVS) preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude with patience and reliability
  • Ability to work with elderly and disabled populations
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
