Housekeeping Aide in Hospital

Overview

Madison Regional Health System is seeking a part-time Housekeeping Aide to join our Environmental Services team. The role contributes to a clean, sanitary, safe, and attractive environment in the hospital, aligned with the mission:

• Dust, mop, sweep, and clean assigned areas to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Collect and dispose of trash in accordance with hospital procedures.
• Move and rearrange equipment and furniture as needed to support operations.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Part-time position working in the hospital during day and afternoon hours. Rotation of weekend and holiday coverage to support work-life balance.

• Physical condition adequate to walk, stand, stoop, lift, push, pull, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders as required.
• Most duties performed indoors.
• Previous institutional cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory.
