Part-Time Facility Worker
Dakota State University is seeking applications for a part-time, non-benefit eligible Facility Worker to work Monday – Friday mornings. The hours are 4:30am – 8:00am.
Responsibilities:
- Floor care: sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, but could also include waxing, and shampooing carpets.
- Clean and sanitize designated areas.
- Collect and remove trash from building.
- Wash walls, woodwork, and windows.
- Remove snow from steps and sidewalks near buildings.
Successful candidate must be able to:
- Follow written and oral instructions.
- Operate required cleaning equipment.
- Work positively and professionally with students, co-workers, and the public.
- Work independently.
- Work on a 3 to 6 ft ladder.
- Lift 50 pounds.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
