Maintenance Technician 1
The Maintenance Technician 1 will be responsible for building maintenance and a range of basic repairs. This includes but is not limited to troubleshooting and maintaining small tools and equipment.
Core functions:
- Complete building maintenance and repairs (restrooms, lighting, HVAC systems, painting, and pneumatic systems).
- Troubleshoot and maintain small tools and equipment.
- Partner with Maintenance Tech II for preventative maintenance (PM). This could include changing filters, oiling parts, minor electrical repairs, etc.
- Assist in building new fixtures, office equipment, and other necessary tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Support facilities team as needed to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
Qualifications and requirements:
Education and experience:
High School Diploma or GED required.
2 years of working with mechanical systems, tools, or machines required.
Previous forklift experience preferred.
Skills, abilities, and knowledge:
Basic computer skills, ability to add, subtract, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions.
