RCP Technician
Reactor Coolant Pump Technician - contract position based in Madison, PA. The Reactor Coolant Pump Technician will perform assignments to support RCP field services, equipment turnaround coordination and activities, and intermittent shop support. Ensure safe operation of reactor and auxiliary equipment while following Nuclear Regulatory Commission regulations. You will be on-site at nuclear plants to support outage work. You will report to the Sr.
Manager of Resource Management and the on-site management team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead teams through field and headquarters reactor coolant pump (RCP), motor (RCPM), and seal maintenance tasks.
- Set the example of being a team player/crew member, and a good follower. Additionally, be a leader while performing assignments to support RCP field services, equipment turnaround coordination and activities, and intermittent shop support.
- The service and support scopes will include but are not limited to performing RCPM preventative maintenance checks and services, maintaining cartridge and conventional seals, changing out RCP motors and pumps, and will inventory and refurbish field services equipment.
- Perform nuclear service similar functions as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school education required.
- We prefer a combination of education and experience in the field of Reactor Coolant Pump operation, maintenance and repair.
- Demonstrate skills in the competency area of nuclear equipment services, and demonstrate knowledge of one of the following disciplines:
Electrical Repair, Machinist, and Mechanic. - The ability to work shifts and overtime as needed.
- The ability to pass background screening, drug test and be deemed trustworthy and reliable.
- Will perform the physical requirements of the position including lifting and transporting up to 40 pounds, frequently bend and stoop, stand and walk for 4-6 hours per day.
- You may be subject to the requirements of both Westinghouse and customer "Security" and "Fitness for Duty" programs.

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $70.00/hour to $75.00/hour.
