2nd Shift Custodian - TE
Custodian positions are team members of the Wisconsin Union
-Facilities Custodian Team. Duties include routine maintenance and cleaning, trash removal, snow removal, upkeep of the Memorial Union Terrace and other duties as needed. Work is both indoors and outdoors. Work is performed under the guidance of a Custodial Services Supervisor.
Positions work at UW Madison
- Memorial Union. (800 Langdon Street, Madison) and Union South (1308 West Dayton Street, Madison)
* Schedule is:
Thursday - Monday 3pm-11:30pm
Temporary position. (1040 hours or until the position is filled by a full-time employee)
Wage is $17.00 per hour
+$.80 added for differential Weekend pay for work performed on Saturday and Sunday..
+2.50 added for differential night pay, for work performed between 6pm-6am.

Job Responsibilities:
* Maintains clean and clear walkways to ensure they are free of debris, litter, snow, and ice
* Monitors and secures facility interior and exterior entrances and reports issues to appropriate entities
* Maintains organization of supply areas and equipment, documents inventory, and requests additional supplies as needed
* Documents and reports repairs, violations, and pest control needs
* Utilizes basic equipment and supplies to clean assigned facility areas and remove waste and recyclables
