Rug Washing Specialist

Premier Rug Washing, Inc. has been offering top-tier rug washing services in Wisconsin since 2008. Our expertise lies in combining innovative techniques and industry knowledge to safely restore a wide variety of rugs, including delicate and handcrafted pieces. We provide services such as professional cleaning for nylon, tufted, wool, and silk rugs, as well as repair, dye stripping, custom padding, upholstery cleaning, and more.

Hours:

20 hours per week

Hourly Pay: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour - based on experience, paid biweekly

Wisconsin

• Inspect rugs upon arrival to assess condition, identify materials, and determine appropriate cleaning methods
• Perform rug washing, rinsing, drying, and finishing processes using specialized equipment and techniques
• Treat stains, odors, and damage using proper cleaning and restoration methods
• Handle and move rugs safely throughout the facility, ensuring proper care to avoid damage
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, equipment, and washing areas
• Assist with rug pickup and delivery as needed, ensuring safe transport and professional customer interaction
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding workflow, priorities, and rug status

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to perform physically demanding, hands-on tasks, including safely lifting and moving rugs weighing 50+ pounds
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision when inspecting, washing, and restoring rugs
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and interact professionally with clients
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Commitment to safety and adherence to workplace procedures, including the responsible handling of materials and cleaning chemicals
• Prior experience or knowledge in textiles, restoration, or cleaning services is an advantage, but not required—training will be provided
