Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Industrial Maintenance, Facility Maintenance
Plan and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
Create detailed work orders with required labor, tools, and materials.
Coordinate maintenance activities with production, technicians, and supervisors.
Maintain equipment records, maintenance history, and work orders.
Ensure parts and materials are available by working with purchasing and inventory.
Analyze equipment performance and recommend reliability improvements.
Track and report maintenance KPIs (downtime, work orders, costs).
Coordinate outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including PPE and lockout/tagout.
Drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime and improve equipment efficiency.
Perform other assigned duties.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of maintenance planning, preventive maintenance, and equipment reliability.
- Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methods.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and project management skills.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical degree or certification in maintenance, engineering, or related field preferred.
Experience
- At least 3 years of maintenance planning or related experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
