Position Overview

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining the property's appearance, functionality, and overall resident satisfaction. You will be responsible for completing service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with apartment make-readies to ensure homes are move-in ready.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while maintaining a strong commitment to customer service and safety.

Responsibilities

* Complete maintenance service requests in a timely and professional manner

* Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues

* Perform preventative maintenance throughout the community

* Assist with apartment turns and make-ready projects

* Repair drywall, doors, windows, locks, flooring, and general building components

* Maintain common areas, grounds, and property amenities

* Ensure vacant units are prepared for new resident move-ins

* Follow all safety procedures and company policies

* Communicate effectively with residents, property management, and team members

* Respond to maintenance needs with a customer-focused approach

Qualifications

* Previous apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related experience preferred

* Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and general maintenance practices

* Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely

* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

* Excellent customer service and communication abilities

* Ability to work independently and prioritize daily tasks

* Reliable transportation

* Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
