About the Role
The Maintenance Supervisor I plays a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of facility equipment, systems, and infrastructure. This position oversees daily maintenance activities, coordinates team members, and implements preventive maintenance programs designed to minimize downtime, improve equipment reliability, and extend asset life.
The Maintenance Supervisor I provides hands-on leadership by training and supporting maintenance team members, promoting high-quality workmanship, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and established procedures. This role also manages maintenance schedules, troubleshoots complex mechanical and electrical issues, maintains accurate records, and collaborates with other departments to support operational goals.
Ultimately, the Maintenance Supervisor I, helps maintain a safe, reliable, and productive environment for employees, residents, guests, and the organization.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead capacity.
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and building systems relevant to commercial or residential facilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and equipment documentation.
- Knowledge of applicable safety regulations, procedures, and best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
