Monday-Friday, 5:00 PM-10:00 PM Starting Pay: $18.50 per hour
We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and hardworking individual to join our team as a Part-Time Project Cleaning Technician. This position involves performing a variety of specialized cleaning and floor-care projects, including floor stripping and waxing, floor polishing, carpet cleaning, window cleaning, and other specialty cleaning tasks.
Previous cleaning or floor-care experience is preferred. A valid driver's license is preferred but not required . Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus but are not required.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, able to work independently, dependable, and committed to providing high-quality cleaning services
Project cleaning Tech are specialized cleaning professionals who perform deep cleaning, restoration, and periodic floor-care projects. Duties may include stripping, waxing, buffing, refinishing, and restoring floors in commercial facilities. Project workers may also assist with larger cleaning and maintenance projects as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform floor-care projects, including stripping, waxing, buffing, carpet extraction, and other periodic cleaning services requested by customers.
- Operate industrial floor buffers, scrubbers, and other specialized cleaning equipment.
- Perform project work such as local supply deliveries, post-construction cleanup, floor care, flood cleanup, carpet care, power washing, and other services needed to resolve customer requests or complaints.
- Inspect, set up, and properly use new equipment, materials, and cleaning processes.
- Work with managers to learn new equipment, materials, procedures, and cleaning techniques.
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Arrive on time and work overtime when required.
- Travel between customer locations as needed while maintaining a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
- Safely move large furniture and other objects while following proper safety procedures to prevent injury.
- Pass any background check required by customers to access their facilities.
- Dust surfaces such as desktops, cabinet tops, partitions, picture frames, and other areas.
- Empty trash and recycling containers and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Sweep, damp mop, and wet mop hard-surface floors.
- Vacuum floors using upright vacuums and/or backpack vacuums.
- Clean glass surfaces and other designated areas.
- Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, and other surfaces.
- Replenish restroom supplies as needed.
- Polish metal fixtures, fittings, and other designated surfaces.
- Maintain assigned buildings and work areas in a clean, safe, and professional condition.
