Maintenance Manager — Food & Beverage Manufacturing

A growing, multi-site food manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Manager to take ownership of maintenance operations across its production facilities. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has run — not just supported — a structured maintenance program, and who's ready to help build one from the ground up as the company scales into a new facility.

What You'll Do

• Lead a maintenance team of ~12 (technicians and an electrician) through a maintenance foreman
• Stand up and manage a CMMS-based parts and work-order system
• Own MRO cost control and drive down maintenance spend without sacrificing reliability
• Support commissioning of new equipment and facility systems, including air handling and refrigeration
• Partner with plant leadership on staffing, scheduling, and weekend coverage in a 24/7, multi-shift environment
• Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards (GMP, HACCP, OSHA); support audit readiness (SQF/BRC a plus)

What You Bring

• 8+ years in a maintenance leadership role, ideally in food or beverage manufacturing
• Proven experience building or overhauling a maintenance program — not just maintaining one
• Comfort managing budgets, vendors, and a technical team that includes controls staff
• No specific degree required — we're prioritizing hands-on experience and leadership track record
