We're seeking a full-time Senior Maintenance Technician to support one of our affordable housing communities in the Madison, WI area. As part of our team, you'll help ensure our residents have a safe, comfortable place to call home by providing quality maintenance and exceptional service.
What You'll Do:
Complete daily maintenance and repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
Respond promptly to routine and emergency maintenance requests when assigned.
Perform daily property walks to keep everything clean, safe, and looking sharp.
Maintain a schedule for the timely completion of apartment make-readies, ensure all apartments scheduled for move-ins are fully completed prior to move-in.
Coordinate all move-ins and move-outs with the Property Manager.
Tackle seasonal prep such as snow removal or fall cleanup.
Inspect buildings and grounds to maintain safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal.
What You'll Bring:
Minimum of three years of previous experience in property management maintenance, building maintenance, or related trade.
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
Ability to participate in a 24/7 on-call assignment.
Valid drivers license and ability to meet insurance requirements.
Strong customer service skills with a resident-first mindset.
HVAC-EPA (Type II), or EPA Universal preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
