Morning Bus Driver​/Custodian

North Yarmouth Academy seeks a bus driver/custodial employee who desires to work in a great school community. The successful candidate will transport no more than 14 students to the Academy with a limited number of stops. When not transporting students, the employee will be assigned custodial duties. Hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Reliability and flexibility to accept changing work priorities are required.

• Ability to safely drive a 14-passenger bus
• Clean driving history over the past five years
• Class C license
• Custodial experience is preferred but will train

• Ensure that the students are safely transported to the school
• Bus is cleaned and fueled
• Clean hallways, classrooms, offices, gym, walls, restrooms, and other areas
• Collect and empty trash receptacles and pick up litter in and around buildings
• Take the initiative to report cleaning or cosmetic issues for prioritization and repair
• Assist with setup for activities and programs and perform light maintenance activities such as painting, detail cleaning, and floor maintenance
• Performs other related duties as directed by the manager
