Camden Hills Regional High School, a state-of-the-art energy efficient facility that includes a wind turbine and solar panels, serves 710 students in grades 9 – 12 from primarily six surrounding towns.

The school offers an incredibly expansive array of educational experiences for students and is dedicated to hiring and retaining a high-quality, diverse staff.

Five Town CSD is now hiring a year-round Custodian for our school. The normal work schedule for this positions is 3 PM to 11:30 PM. The successful candidate will be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekend rotation, and be willing to adapt to different assignments from day to day.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and functional environment within the school buildings and grounds, including but not limited to:
  • General floor care and cleaning,
  • Restroom maintenance, including sanitizing and stocking,
  • Waste management,
  • Window/Wall cleaning.
• Perform minor repairs to ensure the proper functioning of building systems.
• Aid in set-up for special events.
• Aid with snow/ice removal as needed.

• Knowledge of safety procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery.
• Ability to perform a wide range of cleaning duties.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and other staff.
• Time management and prioritization skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Dexterity in problem-solving.

• Background check, including fingerprinting.
• Maine Department of Education CHRC Approval.

• Pay is $20.27 - $25.72 per hour based on experience, within the parameters of the applicable contract
