Warehouse Sanitation

Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Sanitation team member to keep our high-volume food distribution facility clean, safe, and food-safe. In this role, you will perform daily cleaning of warehouse floors, docks, aisles, and storage areas, disinfect food storage and high-touch surfaces, and handle trash and recyclables according to company and regulatory standards. You will operate basic cleaning equipment, support spill response, and complete sanitation logs and checklists.

Working closely with warehouse operations, you will help ensure a safe, efficient environment that supports PFG's safety-first, customer-centered culture and nationwide food service distribution.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of warehouse floors, docks, aisles, and storage areas
• Clean and disinfect food storage zones, trash areas, and high-touch surfaces to meet food-safety standards
• Operate basic cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, sweepers, and vacuums safely
• Handle and dispose of waste and recyclables according to company and regulatory guidelines
• Restock sanitation supplies and report low inventory or equipment issues
• Follow all safety, PPE, and lockout/tagout procedures while working around material-handling equipment
• Assist with spill response and cleanup to prevent slip and contamination hazards
• Complete sanitation logs and inspection checklists accurately and on time
• Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to schedule cleaning around loading and stocking activity
• Support periodic deep cleans, audits, and inspections as required by management or regulations
