Warehouse Sanitation

Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Sanitation, Cleaning associate to help keep our high-volume food distribution facility clean, safe, and audit-ready. In this role, you will clean and sanitize warehouse floors, docks, storage areas, restrooms, and breakrooms, using industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals following strict safety and food safety guidelines. You will remove trash and cardboard, support recycling efforts, complete sanitation logs, and report hazards or needed repairs.

Working closely with warehouse teams in a fast-paced environment, you'll support PFG's safety-first, customer-focused culture and have opportunities for skills training and career growth across logistics and distribution operations.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize warehouse floors, docks, and storage areas to food safety standards
• Perform daily cleaning of restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas
• Operate floor scrubbers and basic cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
• Handle, store, and mix cleaning chemicals according to safety procedures
• Remove trash, cardboard, and debris; compact and stage waste for disposal or recycling
• Inspect sanitation conditions and report hazards, spills, and needed repairs
• Follow OSHA, food safety, and company sanitation policies and procedures
• Complete sanitation logs and checklists accurately and on time
• Support inventory and warehouse teams during cleaning-related moves or shutdowns
• Participate in safety meetings and ongoing training to maintain compliance
