Substitute Custodians School Year
Under the direct supervision of the Custodial Supervisor and Business Administrator, substitute custodians perform general cleaning and maintenance in school buildings and grounds during the absences of contracted custodians.
Schedule & PayTypical shifts available:
Monday – Friday / Night Shift 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. (includes 30‑minute meal break)
Paid at $144.50 per 8.5‑hour shift
Qualifications- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and ability to perform cleaning duties of building and grounds.
- Ability to be self‑directed, show initiative, be dependable and assume responsibility.
- Ability to move, receive and store building supplies and materials.
- Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs.
- As‑needed assignment scheduled only during custodian absence.
- No benefits are included in this per diem / as needed position.
