Facilities Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a genuine, motivated, and driven team member to join our Hospitality Team as a Facilities Maintenance Technician.

• Respond to a variety of daily maintenance requests efficiently and accurately.
• Be committed to our team by listening to the needs of our restaurant manager's and teammates with the goal of providing an exceptional resident experience every day.
• Be passionate about our community by ensuring grounds, amenities and office are ready to WOW guests at all times.
• Work well under pressure and be able to drive a company vehicle or golf cart, work with electricity, repair HVAC's, troubleshoot various appliance problems, perform preventative maintenance, and respond to emergency requests from managers.
• Have a willingness to learn and take advantage of opportunities to receive additional certifications and/or training.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to learn new skills quickly.

Positions in this class typically require: crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.

Heavy Work:
Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of forces constantly to move objects.

Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, work space restrictions, and intense noises.

Normal work week is Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm, with a 7.5-hour workday and an hour lunch, total of 8.5 hour day. Some Saturday work will be required to support venue events. This position is considered essential and will be require providing support during inclement weather and emergency related events.

Valid Virginia Driver's License Must pass Pre-Employment Physical Outdoors (Exposed to plants, insects, severe weather, hot/cold temperatures)
