St. Joseph Residence in Manchester, NH is a small 22 bed skilled/long term care nursing home with a family atmosphere. We are seeking a skilled and dependable
Full Time Lead Maintenance Technician
to join our team full-time. This role is perfect for someone with experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general facility maintenance. Snowplowing experience is a plus! You will play a key role in keeping our facility safe, functional, and welcoming. This position requires every-other-weekend availability.

- Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and bed repair and maintenance
- Service heating and cooling units/systems, as specified by the manufacturer, and in compliance with established policies and procedures and under the direction of the Director of Maintenance.
- Maintain grounds, parking areas, and driveways through trimming, sweeping, and general upkeep
- Follow maintenance schedules and complete assigned unscheduled tasks efficiently.
- Assist others in lifting heavy equipment, supplies, etc., as requested and by using appropriate body mechanics, lifting devices or procedures.
- Maintain proper infection control and universal precaution practices during all maintenance procedures.
- Drive company vehicle to perform errands as assigned including assisting with resident transportation.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior lead/supervisory experience in an Environmental Services position.
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to work from blueprints, schematics and technical manuals helpful.
- Ability to participate in emergency evacuations
