Overview
As a certified Safelite Repair Specialist I, you will utilize industry‑leading technology to complete vehicle glass repairs, champion the Safelite Spirit and bring high‑quality service to customers.
Responsibilities- Learn to repair vehicle glass in classroom and hands‑on training, focusing on the Safelite Way.
- Repair chips, cracks and other auto glass issues on customer vehicles.
- Manage work orders, customer documentation and communication using Safelite Mobile Resource Management technology; promote and sell Safelite promotional items.
- Clean vehicle during idle time and perform housekeeping tasks in company vehicle and shop.
- Safely operate company and customer vehicles, and use company‑issued tools and chemicals.
- Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards.
- Competitive weekly base pay starting at $16.50/hour.

Education & Experience- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent (preferred).
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license (required).
- On‑the‑job training and completion of Safelite Safe Tech® certification (required).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. for short periods and assisting with windshields weighing 26‑50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work in tight spaces, bend and twist body.
- Proficient with hand tools and power tools.
- Operate a motor vehicle in compliance with all applicable laws and subject to monitoring via camera/video surveillance.
- Professional customer service orientation.
- Work safely outside in varied weather and temperature conditions.
- Handle chemicals safely, per Safelite Way of Fitting.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate customer needs.
- Problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Reading, writing and interpreting English language and technical directions.
- Oral and written communication via phone or computer.
- Maintain professional appearance and adhere to uniform and PPE policies.
- Maintain stable performance under personal or professional pressure.
This position involves driving duties that will be monitored through cameras, GPS and other tracking technologies to ensure safety and compliance.
