Seasonal Auto Glass Repair Service Specialist

A Brief Overview

As a certified Safelite Repair Specialist I, you will utilize industry‑leading technology to complete vehicle glass repairs and uphold the Safelite Spirit with a can‑do attitude, caring heart, and service mindset.

• Learn vehicle glass repair in the classroom and on the job under experienced technicians.
• Repair chips, cracks and other auto glass related issues on customer vehicles.
• Manage work orders, customer documentation and communication through the Safelite handheld Mobile Resource Management (MRM) technology.
• Promote and sell Safelite promotional items to customers.
• Clean customer vehicles during wait/idle time and perform additional housekeeping tasks.
• Safely operate company and customer vehicles, company‑issued tools and chemicals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all company policies and standards.

• Monday–Saturday schedule with Sunday and an additional day off each week.
• Competitive weekly base pay starting at $16.75 per hour

• Paid training and all the tools and resources needed for success.

• High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent (preferred).
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license.

• On‑the‑job training/completion of Safelite Safe Tech™ certification.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs; assisting with windshields weighing 26–50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work in tight spaces, bend and twist body.
• Proficient with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle in compliance with all laws; monitored via camera/video surveillance.
• Professional customer service skills and ability to exceed expectations.
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions and extreme temperatures.
• Ability to work with chemicals, as applicablen
• Flexible scheduling to accommodate customer needs.
• Problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Read, write and interpret English language and technical directions.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Maintain professional appearance per company uniform and PPE policies.
• Ability to maintain stable performance under pressure.

This position involves driving duties that will be monitored through cameras, GPS, and other tracking technologies to ensure safety and compliance.
