Facilities Specialist

Hesston College seeks applicants for a full time Facilities Specialist position. As facilities specialist you will be responsible for the care and maintenance of our campus facilities (including the roofs, doors and windows, ceilings and campus lighting). This position also performs other general maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, drywall, HVAC maintenance, light plumbing and assisting other maintenance personnel as needed.

To be successful in this position, you will need to have initiative, be self-motivated and attentive to detail and thrive on performing a broad range of assigned tasks. Our goal is to find someone with a high school diploma or higher, with relevant work experience in the maintenance areas described above. Supervisory skills and basic electrical knowledge are a plus and a positive attitude with a willingness to learn a must.
