School Janitor

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable School Janitor to join our team. As a School Janitor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our students, staff, and visitors. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will contribute to the overall success of our educational institution.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
• Maintain cleanliness in classrooms, offices, and common areas
• Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Clean windows, blinds, and other glass surfaces
• Ensure proper stocking and replenishment of cleaning supplies
• Assist with setting up and cleaning up after school events or activities
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others
