This position is located in the Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Plains Area (PA), National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF) location in Manhattan, KS. In this position, you will supervise and manage various assigned functions, ensuring the operation and maintenance of the following support services. Plumbing/Piping;
Grounds and Vehicles;
Work Shops Group; and Custodial Services. The work includes skilled labor and service contracts for site-wide Repair and Maintenance (R&M) program.
Maintains standard operation and maintenance procedures for plumbing/piping, grounds/vehicles, and general maintenance activities including welding, carpentry, flooring, painting, and containment surface coatings for the facilities.
