I.

Job Summary

The RX Waste Technician works on-site at hospitals sorting pharmaceutical waste, and provides waste sort feedback to customer. During a waste sort one must consolidate, prepare, and package hazardous and non-hazardous Rx waste materials applying federal, state and DOT regulations in preparation for transportation and disposal. Act as a liaison between customer and sales support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Travels between customer facilities providing on-site pharmaceutical waste sorting at a healthcare facility, as required or requested.

* Maintains a rigid service schedule.

* Communicates duty status on a defined scheduled.

* Performs other related duties as required or requested.

* Provides written and verbal reports to customer and supervisor.

* Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

III. Qualifications

A.

Required Qualifications

* High School Diploma or GED (accredited)

* 2 years of industry related experience as a lab pack technician, service specialist or driver, or the equivalent in related work experience

* Current driver's license (Class

D) with an excellent driving record

The expected base pay for this hybrid position is $19 an hour. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
