Now Hiring:Weekend Maintenance Technician
Put your industrial maintenance experience to work in a role that offers competitive pay and a four-day break every week.
Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m.
Pay: $25–$30 per hour, plus a $2 per hour shift differential
- Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Performing preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facilities
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests to minimize downtime
- Supporting equipment installations, production setups, and efficiency improvements
- Recording work orders in the CMMS
- Maintaining documentation in accordance with ISO guidelines
- Collaborating with Production, Engineering, and Management
- High school diploma or GED
- At least three years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic Microsoft Office and general computer skills
Requirements
REPORTS TO:
Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor
Create and maintain a high standard in equipment and building maintenance; procedures, documentation, and follow through. Assist in production and take on some engineering duties as needed while keeping maintenance a priority.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair:
Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic issues. - Perform preventative maintenance on all manufacturing equipment and facilities.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimise downtime.
- Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
- Develop and maintain strong communication lines between Maintenance, Production, Engineering and Management.
- Assist with optimization of equipment efficiency.
- Support set-up/installation of new equipment.
- Record maintenance work orders in CMMS system.
- Improve and maintain documented maintenance program in accordance with ISO guidelines.
- Perform projects as needed.
- Perform production set-ups as needed.
- Submit purchase orders as needed.
In addition, may also be responsible for a variety of tasks as needed by our ongoing business and company requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS- Experience, Competencies and Education
- Must possess an education or experience level that permits the employee to effectively communicate and perform duties, assignments and responsibilities of the job.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance role.
- Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents relating to the job, function or assignment.
- Mathematical Skills
Ability to perform basic mathematical equations.
- Reasoning Ability
Ability to make decisions when identifying in-process problems. Ability to deal with a variety of job assignments.
REQUIRED COMPUTER SKILLS- Microsoft Word

- General internet and computer use
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in industrial maintenance.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Accomplishment of assigned tasks.
- Adherence to the Quality Policy and ISO Procedural Requirements.
- Ability to maintain clean work areas and follow good housekeeping practices.
- Ability to follow work rules, work independently, be flexible and be willing to perform a variety of jobs.
- Ability to use any machinery/equipment required to accomplish any given job assignment.
- Ability to work effectively, courteously and respectively with other personnel.
