Maintenance Technician

NECIC Staffing is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for a local housing organization in the Mansfield area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining buildings and grounds, and can work independently while providing quality service to residents.

• Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, including furnaces, boilers, and air conditioning units.
• Complete maintenance work orders in residential units.
• Prepare apartments for new occupancy by performing cosmetic and mechanical repairs.
• Assist with plumbing, carpentry, painting, and basic electrical repairs.
• Maintain property grounds, including mowing, edging, leaf removal, litter cleanup, tree and flower planting, and parking lot maintenance.
• Perform custodial duties, including vacuuming, mopping, waxing floors, and general building cleaning.
• Assist with snow removal using both manual and motorized equipment.
• Complete other maintenance duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade school or vocational training is preferred.
• Previous maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
• Valid Ohio driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• Experience with plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, or HVAC maintenance is a plus.

• Starting pay of $23.00 per hour
