HVAC Dispatcher

Job Summary

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and Minuteman Heating & AC are currently seeking a Service Dispatcher who will serve as the main point of contact and communication in the assigning and routing of HVAC Technicians & Plumbers.

The ideal candidate will be able to remain calm during stressful situations, have excellent communication skills, and be extremely reliable. This is a mission critical position, and requires some nights and weekends on a rotating schedule.

• The ability to multi-task is essential, and you must be willing and able to take appropriate action with little supervision.
• Ensuring the right Tech/Plumber for the right job, managing the flow of information to & from the Technicians/Plumbers in an accurate and timely fashion, and data entry (permits, reports, etc).

• Minimum of 2 years home services dispatching experience.
• Working knowledge of Service Titan software is preferred.

• Dependable – more reliable than spontaneous.
• People-oriented – enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects.
• Adaptable/flexible – enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction and enjoys multi-tasking.
• Detail-oriented – would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture.
