Lead maintenance of our streets, parks, facilities and equipment. In our small‑town setting, this is a hands‑on leadership role that combines fieldwork, staff supervision, budgeting and community interaction.
Responsibilities of the position include the supervision and coordination of snow and ice removal, street repairs, parks and grounds maintenance, stormwater infrastructure, vehicle, equipment and facilities maintenance. This position will supervise the department including work direction to two full‑time and two seasonal employees.
Minimum qualifications include High School Diploma or GED, 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in public works or municipal operations, a valid MN Class B Commercial Driver’s License, availability for on‑call work as needed, and ability to respond to emergency calls within 20 minutes. Preferred qualifications include supervisory experience and Class A License.
