Maintenance Technician

Reporting to our management team, a Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the facilities, buildings, pools, grounds, and equipment. Basic plumbing, painting, and overall mechanical skills and experience will be helpful. This role is responsible for the condition of the property and public areas as assigned and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the guests' experience while communicating effectively with other team members to anticipate and resolve any issues.

Candidates should be available to work weekends & some holidays.

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Oversee and troubleshoot any maintenance or repair concerns, making sure to communicate with General Manager
• Maintain the upkeep and appearance of all grounds, including rooms, cottages, sites, pool, and beach areas
• Stock, maintain and utilize the facility supplies for preventative maintenance according to schedule
• Dispose of trash and recyclables
• Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Some work experience in related field preferred.
• Some hospitality experience preferred. Training will be provided.
