Job Summary

The Repairs & Maintenance (R&M) Team Member is responsible for ensuring that the restaurant's equipment, facilities, and property are maintained at a high standard. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, coordinating repairs, and upholding Chick-fil-A Macland Crossing's commitment to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform regular inspections of restaurant equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and overall building maintenance.

* Troubleshoot and repair minor issues with kitchen and dining room equipment.

* Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for specialized repairs.

* Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and costly repairs.

* Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, tools, and supplies.

* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations.

* Assist with minor carpentry, painting, and general handyman tasks as needed.

* Respond promptly to maintenance requests from leadership and team members.

* Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and expenses.

* Must be available late nights and Sunday's to work outside of restaurant operations.

Qualifications

* Prior experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field

* Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

* Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or evenings, as needed.

* Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and perform manual labor.
