HOUSEKEEPER
The Housekeeper is responsible for daily cleaning the apartment community’s public facilities, common areas, and grounds. The Housekeeper is also responsible for the cleaning make‑ready process in a manner consistent with the property’s operational objectives under the supervision of the Community Manager prior to move‑in.
- Community housekeeping
- Regular/daily onsite attendance required
- General cleaning and trash removal of grounds and residential areas, including make‑ready units and common areas
- Cleaning and preparing vacant units for move‑in
- Cleaning and upkeep of community’s offices, amenities, etc.
- Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner
- Understand and follow Asset key policy
- Report any observed violations of community rules and regulations to the Community Manager
- Utilize property resources, equipment, and supplies economically
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities requested by Community Manager - Manage excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround and responsiveness
- Project a favorable image of the community to achieve property objectives and public recognition
- Ensure consistency in dealing with residents on all matters
- Enforce policies of the community that the immediate supervisor delegates
- High School Diploma or Equivalent;
Bachelor’s degree preferred or one year’s experience in the housing industry - Ability to understand and perform all on‑site software functions; basic computer skills required
- Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
- Regularly required to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, step stools, move self in different positions, stand or sit for prolonged periods, communicate with others, repeat motions involving wrists, hands, fingers
- Frequently required to lift and place objects up to 25 lbs., work overtime, weekends, night hours (emergencies), exposure to hazardous chemicals
- Occasionally required to work in overhead positions, reach, adjust or move objects up to 25 lbs., operate machinery and power tools, operate motor vehicles and/or golf carts, assess accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work, identify and inspect objects, work in extremely low or high temperatures, work outdoors, work in small/enclosed spaces, traverse flat or non-flat terrain
Compensation is based on skill set, background and training, certifications, etc. The offer is dependent on the facts associated with each individual’s relevant experience for the role. Employees receive a comprehensive total rewards package, including benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, and disability insurance), 401K with employer matching, and commission and performance bonuses where applicable. Full‑time employees also receive paid sick days and company holidays.
SalaryRange
$12 per hour to $14 per hour
