East Cobb Center for Nursing and Healing, a 117‑bed skilled nursing facility, is seeking a dependable and experienced maintenance assistant to help ensure our facility remains safe, functional, and welcoming. If you take pride in problem‑solving and hands‑on work, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a healthcare setting.
What You’ll Be Doing- Perform general maintenance and minor repairs throughout the facility
- Assist with light electrical, carpentry, flooring, and plumbing projects
- Complete routine painting, patching, and drywall touch‑ups
- Support preventive maintenance efforts and safety inspections
- Troubleshoot and report maintenance issues proactively
- Collaborate with staff to address equipment needs and facility upkeep
- Background in general maintenance, repair, and light construction
- Experience in plumbing, HVAC, or electrical work is a plus but not required
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
