Job Summary

Kitchen Cleaning & Sanitation Support / Dishwasher - Part Time Over-Night;

Hours:

9 pm-5:30 am

• Perform duties in utility, retail, and tray line as needed.
• Ensure the safety of customers and team members according to Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and county health department guidelines, including:
• Washing hands frequently and wearing gloves appropriately.
• Following infection prevention practices and reporting potential risks.
• Maintaining all work areas clean, organized, and free of spills and hazards.
• Monitoring and recording food/equipment temperatures and promptly correcting or escalating out-of-range readings.
• Storing food/supplies with proper labeling, dating, and rotation.
• Operating equipment safely and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Ensure positive service outcomes by:
• Following the department work schedule, including weekends and holidays, and arriving before the task start time.
• Setting up, maintaining, and breaking down station work areas.
• Following written and verbal instructions with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Completing area checklists and forms.
• Operating and caring for equipment according to manufacturer and area guidelines.
• Remaining flexible to support teammates across the department.
• Engage in efforts to create a world‑class work environment by:
• Following uniform specifications, keeping clothing and shoes neat and clean.
• Collaborating with teammates and leadership to meet department and hospital goals.
• Communicating respectfully and clearly.
• Respecting cultural traditions of teammates and customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with Well Star Health System policies, work standards, and code of conduct.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Hospital food service experience and customer service experience highly preferred.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English and to understand basic math.
