Groundskeeper – Multifamily Stratford Ridge

As a Groundskeeper you play a key role in making our apartment communities a great place to live. The groundskeeper is a member of the maintenance staff working directly with the maintenance supervisor and office staff to provide world‑class service to our residents. The groundskeeper is a “hands‑on” professional whose goal is to ensure everything is working correctly every day.

• Overall upkeep of the property landscape and exterior image, including cleaning driveways, parking lots, curbs, dumpster areas, exterior hallways, and other public areas.
• Maintenance of property flowerbeds, plants, and grass areas.
• Snow removal and routine pool cleaning or maintenance.
• Provide world‑class customer service by addressing resident concerns and maintenance needs in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist the maintenance staff on other projects as needed.
• Perform any related duties as required or assigned.
• Follow Cushman & Wakefield uniform and professional appearance standards.
• Maintain all safety procedures and safeguard all company tools and equipment.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work evenings or weekends on call in case of emergency.
• Ability to take direction in English or Spanish.
• Professional, courteous, effective listener, and team player.
• Punctuality and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Practice necessary safety protocols and procedures.

High school diploma, GED, trade, technical, or vocational school required.

This job is performed in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The employee is frequently required to travel between properties in varying weather conditions.

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Tasks include climbing stairs, walking between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions, and remaining stationary (sit or stand) for 85% of the time. The employee may need to travel up to 10% of the time. The employee must be able to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally, frequently, or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.

Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour. The compensation offered will depend on factors such as collective bargaining agreements, geographic area, market pay rates, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications. The company will not pay less than minimum wage.
