Lead Custodian 2nd Shift

LEAD CLEANER 2nd shift

Hours: 4p-12:30a Monday-Friday

Compensation: $17/hr

The Shift Lead person will be required to lead and supervise a large number of the cleaning team, under the supervision of the Account Manager, ensuring that the facility is clean daily.

The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, flexible and willing to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises.

• Must have understanding of job duties, machines, and equipment necessary to complete tasks.
• Must be willing to sweep, mop, dust, pull trash which can weigh 40 or more pounds, fill all dispensers, soap, lotion, paper towel and toilet paper.
• Produces quality work within pre-set time frames.
• Shows initiative in regard to job functions and accepts new responsibilities as needed.
• Has a willingness to work with and help others.
• Uses personal protective equipment correctly such as safety glasses and vinyl gloves.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated time frames.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
• A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team-oriented environment.
