Groundskeeper​/Maintenance Assistant

This is an entry-level position ideal for someone with general maintenance, custodial, or handyman experience who enjoys routine work and minor repairs rather than specialized technical projects.

• Routine Property Upkeep
  :
  Perform daily and weekly tasks to keep guest rooms, common areas, and exterior spaces clean, safe, and well‑maintained
• Minor Repairs & Requests>:
  Respond to basic maintenance needs such as changing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, patching minor wall damage, unclogging drains, replacing filters, and assembling or moving furniture
• Preventative Maintenance Support
  :
  Assist with simple preventative maintenance tasks under the guidance of leadership, such as inspections, cleaning equipment, and reporting issues that require advanced repair
• Grounds & Exterior Care
  :
  Help maintain the parking lot and exterior areas, including trash pickup, light sweeping, and general appearance
• Team Collaboration
  :
  Work closely with housekeeping and front desk teams to ensure rooms and public areas remain guest‑ready
• Safety & Standards
  :
  Follow safety procedures and brand standards while reporting larger or specialized maintenance issues when identified

• Previous experience as a groundskeeper, custodian, handyman, or in a general maintenance role preferred (hotel experience a plus, but not required)
• Comfortable using basic hand tools and performing routine, non‑specialized maintenance tasks
• Dependable, hands‑on, and willing to take ownership of daily tasks
• Ability to clearly communicate maintenance needs and updates to the team
• Willingness to work weekends or varied schedules as needed

This position plays a key role in keeping the hotel clean, functional, and welcoming. While it does not require advanced technical experience, it is essential to the overall guest experience and the smooth operation of the property.
