Building Engineer

Our client, a manufacturing facility specializing in industrial systems, is seeking a Building Engineer to join their team. As a Building Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering and Technical Services supporting maintenance and safety operations. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude, strong problem‑solving skills, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Building Engineer

Pay Range: $25

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job‑related experience.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Strong communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and lift/carry loads of 50 lbs. or more.
