Kara Mia Restaurants Markham Inc. an Markham based eatery looking for a Cook, Sous Chef, Chef de Partie, to join our team, this position is full-time and permanent at 7690 Markham Rd, Markham ON.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Prepare awesome meals for our customers

• Run Kitchen in the absence of head Chef

• Weigh, measure, mix and prep ingredients according to recipes.

• Ensure smooth kitchen operation, safe and clean work environment;

• Ensure timely requisition of kitchen supplies and fresh products for specialty menu items;

• Work well under pressure and within the time limit.

• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• At least 1 years of experience as a SOUS CHEF, COOK or CHEF DE PARTIE is REQUIRED, especially in Italian restaurants.

• Post-secondary education (training/ certification/ diploma) in culinary studies, catering or hospitality is an asset.
