Job Summary
You would play a critical role in supporting day-to-day remediation operations. This position is responsible for performing detailed cleaning, sanitation, and site preparation tasks on residential, commercial, and industrial projects involving mold remediation, water damage restoration, fire/smoke cleanup, and environmental decontamination. You must follow strict safety, compliance, and quality standards to ensure all work is completed efficiently, professionally, and according to company protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Perform detailed cleaning, wiping, HEPA vacuuming, and debris removal in remediation work zones.
- Assist with setting up and maintaining containment barriers, negative air machines, HEPA scrubbers, and dehumidifiers.
- Conduct pre-clean and post-clean sanitation in accordance with IICRC and company standards.
- Safely handle and dispose of contaminated materials following environmental and regulatory guidelines.
- Load-in/load-out of equipment, tools, and materials.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, vehicles, and equipment to ensure a professional and safe environment.
- Follow all PPE requirements, safety protocols, and job-specific instructions provided by supervisors or project managers.
- Document daily work activities, including before and after photos, material usage, and equipment tracking.
- Assist with odor removal, surface decontamination, and antimicrobial application as needed.
- Uphold professionalism when interacting with customers, property owners, and onsite personnel.
- Move business files and boxes, wrap files and place items onto pallets for transportation, and provide safe transportation for customer property.
- Perform inspections and complete walk-throughs to ensure proper inventory control for customer property.

- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting 50+ lbs., bending, climbing ladders, and working in tight or high‑risk environments.
- Adaptable to changing priorities in fast‑paced job environments.
- Comfortable wearing required PPE (respirators, Tyvek suits, gloves, etc.) and safety focused.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends depending on job demand.
- Reliable transportation, dependable, punctual, and consistent attendance.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Strong customer service skills and professional attitude and demeanor when representing BMS on job sites.
- Experience in moving furniture, files, warehouse delivery, or large item delivery (preferred).
- Forklift experience and certification (preferred).
- Valid Driver's License with a good driving record (preferred).
- Prior cleaning, janitorial, remediation, or construction experience (preferred but not required).
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

- Base Pay Maximum: $28 per hour.
- Base Pay Minimum: $22 per hour.
