The Fuel Operations Specialist will coordinate maintenance activities at all company fueling stations. This includes monitoring maintenance requests, dispatching vendors to conduct repairs and reviewing monitoring systems to proactively address maintenance needs. The Fuel Operations Specialist is responsible for validating that all maintenance needs are met so that stations are fully operational during all club hours of operation. This role will participate in an after-hours on-call queue designed to address urgent issues from clubs.

The Fuel Operations Specialist collaborates with Team Members, Vendors, Information Technology, and Solution providers that conduct maintenance activities to keep stations operational. This position requires the combination of technical expertise, organization, and the ability to act based on the needs of the business. The individual for this role must operate with a sense of urgency, possess strong critical thinking skills, have excellent problem-solving capability, and have strong interpersonal skills to partner with various internal and external stakeholders.

• Support the opening of new fueling stations. Team member will travel to conduct on-site trainings, coordinate preopening inspections, and ensure stations are operationally ready for opening.
• Review all maintenance requests and dispatch vendors to address issues.
• Build partnerships with new and existing maintenance vendors to ensure the fueling stations are adequately supported.
• Review key maintenance metrics such as flow rate data and pump down reports.
• Implement preventative actions based on the data to deliver an unbeatable experience to our members.

Support compliance actions as needed to ensure that all BJ’s fueling facilities are compliant with state, local and federal regulations in the areas of safety, environmental and staff training certification. This includes environmental regulations for both the facilities and staffing requirements. Manage relationships with Titan for Class C certified operator training and with MVI for annual inspections at all fueling facilities including A and B operator status.
