Appliance Recycling Associate

Our client, an industry leader in recycling and environmental services, is seeking a dedicated Appliance Recycling Associate to join their team. As an Appliance Recycling Associate, you will be an essential part of the operations team supporting recycling events and environmental initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to sustainability, which will align successfully within the organization.

** Shift:
** 1 Day the Week of June 27

More one-off dates to follow for August/September on Saturdays and Mondays

** What's the Job?*
* + Assist with appliance recycling during scheduled events, ensuring proper handling and disposal of appliances.

+ Support the setup and breakdown of recycling event sites to ensure smooth operations.

+ Engage with community members and participants to promote recycling initiatives.

+ Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

+ Collaborate with team members to achieve recycling goals and improve event efficiency.

** What's Needed?*
* + Ability to work physically outdoors in various weather conditions.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

+ Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.

+ Previous experience in recycling, environmental services, or related fields is a plus but not required.
